As a New York City street and architectural photographer I've had the pleasure of shooting the streets and buildings of my beautiful city for many years, and have exhibited these works all over the world, including my home town, New York City. Today I am not as fortunate to get out there and shoot the empty streets like I'd like to because of a broken foot which happened day 2 of quarantine.
However, I was able to get out there on a good day eager to capture what NYC looked like during quarantine. I would like to share with you my walk through Central Park, Bethesda Fountain and Terrace; one of my favorite places to shoot of all time. Here you will see my visual and video capture of that scene. And since my foot has kept me inside most days, I took my story one step further and illustrated that scene, and captured it on video. I hope you enjoy my experience.
"Imagine all the people..."
This was the first time I've ever seen Bethesda Terrace and Fountain so desolate in broad daylight. Right now the people live only in my imagination. Strangely enough I can't help but miss them, and I thought I never would. Let's not take each other for granted when this is all over.

Beautiful Denise, thank you for posting images we can't be there to witness.
